10. The Tiara Twins
Sisters Alycesaundra and Giavanna were better known to the world as the Tiara Twins when they made their debut on Toddlers and Tiaras. The twosome quickly became famous in the media for the exorbitant amounts of money their mother Kelly would spend on them. Kelly admitted to expenses of over a million dollars on the girl’s costumes, a bodyguard, a tour bus, and a practice pad. So, one may wonder if she did see any returns on that investment. Alycesaundra is now busy creating her own fashion line and curating ramp shows while Giavanna still participates in and wins beauty pageants. In fact, Giavanna was even crowned Little Miss South Carolina United States. Will this young beauty go on to someday win the coveted title of Miss United States? Only time will tell.
9. Eden Wood
Having won several beauty pageants, Eden Wood became a star at truly a young age. Toddlers and Tiara’s served to catapult this beauty into the national limelight and she truly leveraged the newfound publicity. Once her stint on the show ended, Eden went back to school to finish her studies, but she also kept taking up assignments on television and in fashion. Eden Wood has walked the ramp for fashion designer Wanda Beauchamp and in fact, got to take a much-coveted bow with the designer at the finale. That apart, Miss Wood keeps busy with various stints on television and is also on her school’s cheerleading squad. All, we can say is that her mother Micki Wood must be really proud.
8. Alana Thompson
Alana Thompson was better known by her pet name Honey Boo Boo and was one of the most noticed cast members of Toddlers and Tiaras. She was so popular that she even got her own reality show called ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’ which aired on TLC. However, good things were not to last and it was soon discovered that Alana’s mother June Shannon was dating a man who was a known child molester. Despite repeatedly denying these claims, the man Mark Anthony McDaniel Sr. was proven guilty and the show was thus cancelled. Indeed, all this controversy only served as a downer to the young Alana’s career which seemed to be flourishing so well. As of now, the young Miss Thompson is focussing on starting a music career and has even recorded a single ‘Movin’ Up.’
7. Madison Berg
Like the rest of the names on this list, Madison Berg too first shot to fame on Toddlers and Tiaras. Berg went by the nickname of Tootie and earned a notorious reputation for her diva-like tantrums. Older than the rest of the cast members, Madison definitely added a touch of glamour to the show. If you are wondering what this young beauty is doing now, well, she is very much out there and competing in beauty pageants. In fact, in 2017, she was crowned Miss Mississippi Teen United States. A popular figure on social media sites, Miss Berg uses the internet to keep her modelling shots in circulation and is making no bones of the fact that she is definitely looking for a big break.
6. Paisley Scott Dickey
Paisley Dickey was one of the cast members who stirred up a huge controversy when she showed up in what was deemed as an inappropriate costume designed by her mother. Dickey wore an outfit similar to the one worn by Julia Roberts’ character of an escort in the famed hit movie Pretty Woman. This caused a storm with many arguing the child was being robbed of her innocence too early. Yet, Paisley Dickey – who was also known as Peppermint Paisley on the show – has turned fame to fortune. She has appeared in supporting roles in a number of horror films and apart from small roles on television. Dickey keeps busy with assignments in modelling and is also currently studying acting and ballet. The future indeed looks bright for this young starlet.
5. Destiny Christian
Another cast member who stirred up a storm over her choice of outfit was Destiny Christian. Destiny’s mom Lisa dressed up her young daughter as Sandy from the famed musical Grease. To complete the look, Lisa handed her daughter a fake cigarette as a prop just like Olivia Newton John in the original movie. Needless to say, this action stirred quite a reaction. However, it seems most of the controversy was unnecessary for Destiny has grown up to be smart and well-behaved. Christian leads a pretty normal life compared to most of her fellow cast members. She still participates in beauty pageants and in 2017 was crowned Miss Preteen Pittsburgh. That apart, this young beauty likes to dance and is even part of her school cheerleading squad.
4. Alaska Mathews
It perhaps can be said that Alaska Mathews was one of the first contestants of Toddlers and Tiaras to truly experience the negative aspects of child sexualization. Alaska pictures from the TV show was apparently uploaded on an adult site and when this fact came to light, it created much public outrage against Alaska’s mom. Lori Mathews has been earlier accused of unsafe behaviour as she dyed her daughter’s eye lashes and even bleached her teeth. At present young Alaska is working hard to get her career track on the right road. She still competes in beauty pageants and in her free time, takes up modelling contracts. Alaska is also apparently recording a solo music album due for release soon.
3. Lacey-Mae Mason
Lacey Mae Mason at 8 years was one of the oldest competitors on Toddlers and Tiaras; however, she looked relatively younger than most of her co-stars. It was then revealed that Lacey-Mae suffered from a type of dwarfism called achondroplasia. While her condition did shorten her physical growth, it did nothing to dampen her spirit and she grew to become one of the most popular contestants in the TLC show. Masons’ mother claimed that she entered her daughter into pageants to help her understand that though she was different, she was beautiful. At present, Lacey Mae Mason does much to actively give back to society. She launched an initiative called ‘Peace by Piece’ which helps raise awareness about dwarfism and also supports many anti-bullying campaigns. Mason still participates in beauty pageants and through her actions shows the world that being different is also beautiful.
2. Saliz Anderson
The competitiveness on Toddlers and Tiaras often extended beyond the children to their moms. While most of the mothers tended to hype up each incident that occurred with their children, Sarah Anderson was truly different from the rest. Anderson’s calm attitude rubbed off well on her daughter Saliz. Apart from faring well on the show, Saliz Anderson has taken her studies quite seriously and is known to score good grades at school. She also has her own YouTube channel where fans can follow her and check out her songs. Though Saliz Anderson has put her participation in beauty pageants on hold for now, one never knows what the future may hold. We do hope to see this young beauty with brains grace a pageant stage sometime in the future.

1. Isabella Barrett
Isabella Barrett has been making all the right moves since she completed her stint on Toddlers and Tiaras. Winning many toddler pageant titles might have made the young Barrett famous, yet the spunky little girl went on to truly shock everyone when she opened her own fashion line at a tender age. Isabella and her mother Susanna started Glitzy Girl – an imitation jewellery line – and Bound by the Crown – a children’s couture line. Both brands are doing so well that young Isabella has apparently already raked in her first million. Business apart, this young diva models and is frequently spotted in New York Fashion Week. Multitalented, Isabella also loves to sing and has in fact, recorded a few songs. Way to go girl!
